    Emmanuelle presented in early July a poster in the research theme “chronology” at the International Radiocarbon conference in Krakow Scientific objectives, dating methods (14C and archaeomagnetism) and foreseen development are exposed on the poster.

  • Lacustrine cores sampling

    Manon Sabourdy and Emmanuelle Casanova went to CEREGE in Aix en Provence to meet with Morteza Dajamali and Elodie Brisset. Together they sampled lakes and peats cores from the Iranian to evaluate the preservation of biomarkers.   • Presentation of the project at GMPCA conference

    Emmanuelle attended the GMPCA conference in Rouen, France from 14-18 April. During the poster session she presented the ERC AGROCHRONO projects, the research themes and scientific objectives!

  • First selection of ceramic samples

    The first slection of Iranian and Pakistanese ceramics for organic residu analyses was performed by A Didier and B Mutin. Pottery sherds from sites excavated in the 1990s and 2010s were selected for analyses.

  • Launch meeting

    The team met in February for the start of the project and first organic geochemistry analyses . All the senior staff, postdoc Manon Sabourdy and collaborator Elodie Brisset attended the meeting.

  • Start of Manon Sabourdy postdoctoral contract
