In the archives of Mundigak excavations

This week Marjan, Asma et Emmanuelle look at oasteological collections from the site of Mundigak. The site, excavated inhte 1950s by J-M Casal, is located in Afghanistan. It covers a Neolithic to Bronze Age occupation.

A first animal bone selection was made to conduct 14C dating and establish an aboslute chronology of the site. This will complete the 14C dates made on charcoal made at the time of excavations.
